Step 1: Remove the Cap
Gently take off the protective cap from the TDS meter’s probe.
Step 2: Turn On the Meter
Press the “ON/OFF” button to power up the device.
Step 3: Immerse the Probe
Dip the meter’s tip into the water sample (up to the maximum immersion line).
👉 Make sure the water level is not above the LCD screen.
Step 4: Wait for the Reading
Stir the meter gently and wait 2–5 seconds until the reading stabilizes.
Step 5: Record the TDS Value
The displayed number shows the TDS level in ppm (parts per million).
Step 6: Turn Off & Dry
Press the “ON/OFF” button again to turn it off.
Wipe the probe with a soft tissue and replace the cap for storage.

A TDS Meter measures the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water — like minerals, salts, and impurities — to help you know if your water is safe for drinking or needs purification.
Simply remove the cap, turn it on, and dip the probe into your water sample up to the immersion line. Wait 2–5 seconds for the reading to stabilize, then note the TDS value in PPM.
For safe and healthy drinking water, TDS should be below 300 PPM.
Your meter comes pre-calibrated and ready to use. However, for the most accurate results, you can recalibrate it occasionally using standard calibration solution if your model supports it.
